5 Years relevant experience in a Stock Control role
The responsibilities include evaluating raw material suppliers, ensuring product quality & safety is maintained, preparing reports and creating/maintain good relationships with key suppliers.
The Stock Controller is responsible for internal stock transfers, moving products between warehouses if needed or removing expired/damaged stock. This also includes monitoring and managing interbranch transfer costs and stock write-off costs.
The Stock Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate records in the accounting system for raw materials, finished goods and work in progress including the analysis of & investigation into variances.
The Stock Controller is responsible for supporting the Production Supervisor in co-ordinating and monitoring production including executing the monthly Production Plan.
Management of Freight Forwarding/Clearing Agent process for raw materials such as shipment, booking space, preparing bills of loading, customs declarations, etc. and arranges the proper customs clearance to meet specific regulations, with proper tariff codes for all imported materials.
Acts as information point for customer services staff.
Work closely with the Procurement Officer, Product Managers, Warehouse, Production, Customer Services and Quality Admin.
