Description
Reporting to the: Senior Receptionist
NB: This position requires someone willing to work shifts (Weekends and Public Holidays included)
Key responsibilities will include:
Reception and switchboard management
Handling guest requests
Providing information to guests
Operating the switchboard (receiving incoming call from clients)
Forward calls
Screening calls
Log messages via email
Issuing of wheelchairs to the public
Coordinating parking tickets for events
Responding to inquiries and queries telephonically and via email
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
Resolving company and departmental related – externally and internally
Cash-up – Requisitioning of payments
Maintains security by following procedures
Maintaining continuity among teams by documenting and communicating actions, regularities
Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies for reception and business centre
Monitoring front of house cleanliness and safety
Manage cash-ups for the business centre
Handling lost & found
Manage business centre as and when required
Communicate with guests in a clear and proactive manner
Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues
Computer literate in Microsoft Office

Qualifications and Experience Required:
Matric Certificate
1 to 3 years front office/call center/events/hospitality and administration experience
