Contract
Description
The Commercial Administrator Electrical Division will lead
the Contracts function for the Electrical Group and have responsibility for all
commercial contracts. The role will work with other functions by providing
analysis of business/contractual issues to support decision making and
facilitate risk mitigation planning and execution.
Provides guidance on all commercial contract subject
matters, including but not limited to tenders, NDAs and Contract Guarantees.
Participates in governance reviews customer proposals for
new business, Specification verification, terms and conditions negotiations,
quality requirements and supply chain requirements.
Leads negotiations of agreements & contracts within
delegated authority.
Understands the real business risks within Eaton SA Business
and applies correctly clauses to minimize risks.
Identifies and manages contract changes and coordinates with
other functions to assure timely response to cost, price and schedule impact.
Effectively negotiates to acceptable contract modification.
Leads in the management/mitigation of customer claims and
disputes. Assures organizational awareness of any such actions and provides
timely progress reports and risk mitigation solutions to include initiation of
corrective actions as needed. Engages with Corporate legal as required.
Supports and advises the Division and Business Unit
Leadership through negotiation of major contracts & agreements.
Compilation of actual sales income figures and updating of
enquiries list.
Verify that initial customer orders reflect Eaton
commitments to the customer as reflected in the proposal and any subsequent
negotiations.
Ensure orders are handed over to project management, in a
timeous manner for processing.
Management of CLM-Tool (Eaton Contract Management Tool)
Administration of Commercial Documentation (general
administration such as filing and signing of contracts)
Guide Standard Product sales staff with Commercials and
NDAs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution(LLB)
Minimum 2 years of contracts experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance from an accredited
institution (B Com Law)
Good Management skill set (Multiple sites and functions
preferred).
