Financial analyst

A large organization in the construction industry is currently recruiting for a Newly qualified Chartered accountant to take on the role of a Financial analyst. This is a 3 month contract with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. This organization has been in existence for almost 60 years and has an African footprint. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing key financial data within the organization. Duties:


Perform complex financial and operational analysis


Evaluate data, prepares forecasts and analyzes trends


Compilation and review of financial plans and budgets


Develop presentations to management and the Board of Directors regarding the annual budget, monthly and quarterly actual to forecast analyses


Financial modelling


Analyse product costing and pricing



Education and experience



Newly qualified CA(SA)


Completed articles


Auditing of construction /engineering clients would be an advantage
