A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS JOB
The CI Client Service (CS) Research Manager (RM), is responsible for the execution, managing and delivery of projects and is expected to maintain client relationships through quality servicing with guidance from Senior Manager, driving team success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving client’s brief on research needs and asking relevant, insightful questions to distill the business requirement into an appropriate research design, utilizing Qualitative methodology
- Preparation, execution, and delivery of Qualitative research projects from desk research for briefing, proposal and project design including methodology and sampling, discussion guide preparation, fieldwork and report preparation either with or without Project Management (PM) team involvement
- Provide client servicing on standard questions and build industry knowledge to support more advanced inquiries.
- Collaborate across Nielsen’s business units to support business development and ongoing business process improvements.
- Responsible for all necessary administrative task with regards to the project, eg. finance entries, relevant documents preparation across all phases of the project (as illustrated above)
- For projects without Project Management team involvement, RM is to manage the project across all key stages (Pre-field, in-field and post field)
- Relevant stimuli, fieldwork briefing & de-briefing
- Fieldwork observation (when required), providing timely & regular updates to client
- Pro-active in addressing any possible red-flags, take initiative in finding/providing solutions to any issues
- Analysis of data from fieldwork
- Prepare a report that uses the qualitative findings to provide actionable, rich insights to answer the client's business questions in a visual and concise way
- Take initiative in seeking resources/assistance, make corrections while ensuring the project executed within the scheduled timeline and budget
- Participate in regular review/feedback of systems, procedures and any operation concerns with the end goal of improving productivity and cost-efficiency
- Provide coaching & guidance to new Qualitative research juniors in the relevant project management topics
- Perform other related functions that may be assigned
- BA / BS / Psychology advantageous
- 3+ years of Qualitative research experience (non-negotiable)
- Sound experience with Qualitative methodologies, designing Qualitative proposals, executing and managing Qualitative projects, and analysis of Qualitative data into an impactful, meaningful and actionable report of findings to the client
- Working knowledge of quantitative research techniques and methodologies
- Proactive with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Strong analytical, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong skills in Powerpoint
