Job Description Support the Global Benefits and Recognition Director with the development and deployment of the global benefits strategy and governance model. Implement and manage the global broker network, global benefits monitoring tools and global benefits programs to ensure market competitiveness, cost optimisation, simplification, governance and colleague engagement.
Key Responsibilities Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
• Implementation of Sage’s global benefits broker into all regions, working with Procurement and regional People teams to enable a smooth transition.
• Manage the ongoing day-to-day relationship with Sage’s global benefits broker, tracking performance against SLAs and seeking feedback from regional People teams to ensure success.
• Support the Global Benefits and Recognition Director with the creation of a global benefits management governance model and associated frameworks and procedures, including benefits renewals (DOA / Info Sec), finance and invoicing and supplier management. Monitor delivery against the model, working with the global broker and regional teams to ensure compliance and providing support / expertise, as required.
• Manage the launch and ongoing population of global benefit tools that give Sage visibility of its benefits programs, suppliers, costs, renewal dates, take up and market insight, around the world. Utilise this data to provide insights to stakeholders and make recommendations on improvements to benefit programs, costs and budgeting, planning, processes and communication plans.
• Provide global oversight and monitoring of benefit renewals, working with the global broker and regional People teams to ensure compliance with the global benefits strategy and governance model, and to identify opportunities for consolidation and cost optimisation.
• Support the Global Benefits and Recognition Director with researching and making recommendations on insured benefit financial management strategies (Pooling / Captive). Implement and manage any insured benefit financial management approaches (e.g. pools) that Sage subsequently introduces.
• Deliver and manage Sage’s global benefits programs and policies, including health, wealth, lifestyle and cars, in support of the global benefits strategy.
• Manage Sage’s approach to colleague benefits benchmarking.
• Keep abreast of trends on benefits and benefits management, as well as legislative developments, to support the Global Benefits and Recognition Director with global benefits strategy developments and informing regional plans.
• Manage and / or support delivery of other benefit and recognition team projects as appropriate and required.
Skills, know-how, and experience:
Must have:
• Experience of implementing and managing international benefits programs.
• Experience of managing third-party broker relationships.
• Understanding of benefit compliance requirements.
• Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Strong relationship builder, vendor management and negotiation skills; demonstrated experience of negotiating and managing large contracts and collaboration with Procurement and Legal Departments.
• Demonstrates a strong cultural awareness and flexibility to work across time zones.
• Action-orientated with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
• Resilient and determined nature combined with attention to detail to ensure faultless delivery and operation of projects.
• Experience of implementing and operating technology-based solutions in a complex organisation.
Special Requirements:

• Global benefits broker rolled out across all Sage regions.
• Global benefits audit undertaken resulting in:
o Schedule of all benefits provided, and associated costs understood
o Consolidation and review of providers leading to cost optimisation
o Review of market competitive norms leading to assessment of sage competitiveness and understanding of variance from market practice.
• Robust global governance model in place for benefits management.
• All benefits renewals completed on time and in line with the global governance model.
• Global benefits tools introduced and populated, with processes in place for keeping them up to date. Multinational pooling strategy approach agreed.
• Global Car Policy rolled out across all applicable countries and reviewed annually.
Key stakeholders: Reward Corporate Centre COE, Regional Reward Specialists, Regional People VPs and Directors, People Business Partners, People Services, Procurement, Legal, External Vendors.
