Manage the planning and development of design and procedures for metrics reports.
Develop new reports and report to operations Manager for delegated tasks to team members.
Perform market analysis to efficiently achieve objectives, increasing sales.
Investigate and conducted study on forecasts, demand, and capital for products.
Successfully interpreted data to draw conclusions for managerial action and strategy.
Presented findings and data to teams to improve strategies and operations.
Proposed solutions to improve system efficiencies and reduce total expenses.
Optimised data collection procedures and generated reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Used advanced Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, used VLOOKUP, and other Excel functions.
- Creative in finding solutions to problems and determining modifications for optimal use of organisational data. Expert at providing realistic projections and establishing various scenarios to determine viable process strategies to utilise.
- Organised and timely in providing staff, departmental members, and executive management with reports on specific data findings and their impact on organisational growth and success.

- The role will actively expand in ensuring KPI’s such as DOH, Kit OTIF, efficiency, quality & financial metrics are monitored effectively and achieved.
- Take responsibility for Operational and Inventory management reports with the expectation of driving cost and inventory down and a strong focus on Return-on-Investment (ROI) of consignment business / free stock and process optimisation just by refining the data required to zoom in and focus.
- Take ownership and participate in projects to further improve the South Africa Stryker Customer Logistics function, resulting in increasing customer satisfaction, increasing efficiency, lower costs and optimised inventory levels.
- Analyses and dissect Excel based reports and help with transforming those into a well-designed Data Warehouse based report and dashboard set. {with Macros}
- Creating (conceptual) data models as a result of data analysis on Excel reports.
- Importing of Excel sheets into MFG Pro, making invoice capture simple.{I believe this can be done}
- Leading or participation in cross-functional projects and roles. eg. Operations & Logistics Manager on leave, Warehouse Manager on leave.
- Deal directly with product managers in relation to return of goods, investigation of traceability and regulatory factors and optimising our inventory levels.
- Work with supply chain and complete and correlate monthly review on analysis. Identify the top 100 products by Franchise and inventory levels, safety and disposable 2-month stock holding, alert to the stock holding when new Tenders are awarded.
- Review ways to reduce the wastage across different areas within Operations and Logistics by analysis of data to allow the answers to make the decisions.
- New investments utilise data analysis to make an informed decision.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Information.
- 3-5+ years of experience in interpreting and analysing data for driving business solutions. Proficient knowledge in statistics, mathematics, and analytics. Excellent understanding of business operations and analytics tools for effective analyses of data.
