Thorburn Security is looking for some highly motivated individual to serve as a Operations Manager in the KwaZulu-Natal region. Duties & Responsibilities
- Effectively manage the financial indicators of contracts under one’s control: - Monitor profit & loss statements for each contract to achieve budget and profit (actual results versus budgets and forecasts contract contribution) - Implement cost saving controls to achieve required contract contribution - Grow the existing Revenue through upselling - Monitor price escalations to achieve desired contract contribution • Effectively manage employees: - Effective Organisation - Development - Leadership • Ensure that discipline & grievance are applied in accordance with Company policies and related legislation • Effectively manage security operations: - Deliver customer service in line with the SLA, attend and keep minutes of scheduled customer meetings to retain contracts and prevent losing clients - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance to site standard operating procedure and security operations best practice • Effectively manage business development: - Identify new business opportunities in the region - Grow the business with existing customers by selling an integrated security solution • ISO 9001; 14001 & 45001 – Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Standards: - Adhere to the Thorburn Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) Management System’s Policies & Procedures as applicable to this position

Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent • Driver’s License • PSIRA Grade A • Post Matric qualification is an added advantage • Minimum 5 years’ experience in security management
